Angles and Facts: Moooi’s 2016 Collection Presentation
Moooi brought us an entirely new world of creations to 55th Milan Design Week at via Savona 56, Milan. Transforming the showcase space into a universe of sophistication, extraordinary creativity, and rebellious harmony.
22 new pieces of Moooi’s new collection were placed inside a mysterious, dark, and seductive ballroom. This surreal and imaginary world is integrated with new signature carpets and broadloom wall as wall creations. The unique combination of vibrant colors, photorealistic images, and magic three-dimensional prints from the high-resolution printing technology.
The theme was Rebellious Harmony — a timeless sense of poetry and harmony, qualities at the heart of Moooi’s style.
We can create our carpet design, with the step by step guidance process in "Your Own Design" category.
The special editions are Umut Yamac’s Perch Light Tree Lamp, which stands tall in Moooi’s ballroom space with its 2.5 m trunk, with a friendly flock of birds on its branches, creating a sense of freshness to the visitors.
Also Paul Cocksedge’s Compression Sofa Marble, which gave us the sense of sophisticated and eccentric. A sofa with soft cascading shapes, made of six tons of skillfully carved Carrara marble.
